Oye Hoye! ๐ŸŒถ๏ธ Best Pakistani Chicken Karahi Recipe EVER (Guaranteed!)

Asalam-o-Alaikum, friends! ๐Ÿ‘‹ You know, here at top5pk.com, we’re all about bringing you the best of Pakistan, and *nothing* screams Pakistan like our amazing desi food! Today, we’re tackling a classic, a crowd-pleaser, a dish that’ll make your neighbors jealous: Chicken Karahi! ๐Ÿคค

Forget fancy restaurants; we’re making this at home, and I promise, it’s easier than you think! This recipe is so good, even your *phupho* will ask for it! ๐Ÿ˜‰

**Ingredients (for 4-6 people, *ish*):**

* 1.5 kg Chicken (cut into karahi pieces โ€“ basically, smaller pieces)
* 4-5 Large Tomatoes (pureed)
* 2-3 Onions (finely chopped)
* 1 tbsp Ginger-Garlic Paste (fresh is best!)
* 2-3 Green Chilies (chopped, adjust to your spice level! ๐Ÿ”ฅ)
* 1 tsp Red Chili Powder (or more, you know yourself!)
* 1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder
* 1 tsp Coriander Powder
* 1/2 tsp Cumin Powder
* 1/4 tsp Garam Masala (the secret ingredient! Shhh!)
* 1/2 cup Oil (desi ghee is even better, if you’re feeling fancy! ๐Ÿ˜Ž)
* Fresh Coriander Leaves (for garnish)
* Salt to taste
* A splash of water (if needed)

**Let’s Get Cooking!**

1. First, heat up the oil in your karahi (or a deep pan). Fry the onions until they’re golden brown. Don’t burn them! ๐Ÿ™ˆ

2. Add the ginger-garlic paste and sautรฉ for a minute until you can smell that amazing aroma.

3. Now, toss in the chicken and fry it until it’s lightly browned. This is important for flavor! ๐Ÿ‘

4. Add the tomato puree, red chili powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, and salt. Mix it all up and cook for about 5-7 minutes until the tomatoes are nicely incorporated.

5. Cover the karahi and let it simmer on low heat for about 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is tender and the oil separates. Keep an eye on it and stir occasionally. If it starts to dry out, add a splash of water. ๐Ÿ’ฆ

6. Add the green chilies and garam masala. Mix well and cook for another 2-3 minutes.

7. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves. You deserve it!
